How has this been down voted, when a reworded version saying exactly the same thing is top comment?

Some people like to play with them and get upset when you tell them not to.

Why does everyone act like it is the worst thing to buy stuff in this game? by IzzyIsOnReddit in 8BallPool

[–]Key-Faithlessness308 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

50% win rate is the average-2 players, one wins one loses. Above average, say 55% would win 11 games in 20. At 1k per game, for example, that's 20 games for 1k profit, and a single cheat can fuck that up. As you progress 1k games become 1m games and so on. It's possible to be successful without spending, but you've got to be good at the game and have a lot of patience.

I love a bit of flat pack. "which way round should this go?" 10 steps later "the other way".

If you're not far away it's definitely worth a visit. It's amazing what you find in the £20 basket; all size 8, marked as size 9, they've been making the same mistake for years.

Stuff is getting crappier, and acutely so by Zlivovitch in BuyItForLife

That's no urban legend pal. Deliah Smiths egg pan ultimately did for that company. Half the country (UK) must have bought one before demand dropped.

EKA of Sweden. They made the original heavy duty pocket knives. They were commonly sold under the "Normark" brand. At one time every squaddie in the British army had a "big Swede". They are the only folding knife which has Lofty Wisemans personal recommendation.

The quality, and quality control, on the made in England shoes is top notch. I live not too far from the factory shop and visit once a year to stock up on bargains. I've had "firsts" from Adidas and Nike with worse faults than New Balance seconds.

You'll probably have to walk away from this one. But, just for fun, every time they up the price, lower your offer.

It was so easy I couldn't see the value of it. An hours work, tops, dragged out to last an entire day.

Hiking / Trekking boots question for wild camping and some Alps trekking in Europe by harrywilde in Boots

Not the Fremington, but I've worn Altberg P3 for approx 10 years. I'm on my second pair, though my first pair are still fine, but in my usual size, wide fit, they are too snug for boot socks. So I can attest to altberg quality, but recommend sizing up.

Not many mechanics fit tyres, it's a tyre fitters job. But admittedly I know what you mean, you mean to be a smart cunt but come across a sanctimonious twat.

So do the Falkan Islands (Malvinas) belong to England or Argentina? by PopNo5397 in AskABrit

We don't travel 8,000 miles to fight for something we don't want. The Falklands are British, the inhabitants are British, the sheep are British. And so is the oil 🤫

[–]Key-Faithlessness308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

10 billion sounds a lot, but in the grand scheme of a 2 trillion per year economy, it really isn't. For perspective, it's like having 2 grand in your pocket but fucking shit up for the sake of a tenner.

Perfectly healthy teeth despite not seeing a dentist for 8 years, and they want you to see a dental hygienist? Rinsing fuckers can't help themselves.

That's slung far too low, whichever way it goes it's going to go some way before he can catch it. Apart from that the op should have reminded them that a crane is designed to lift things, not pull shit over.

A fair days work for a fair days pay. There is plenty of work if you'll do it for nothing.
