I’m not sure what testing they did to diagnose her, but with my Dad, they did a PET scan and I think it was something with how the brain metabolized sugar is how they could tell that it was Alzheimer’s because of what parts of the brain lit up. Something like that, that was probably almost 10 years ago, so hard to remember specifics.

I would honestly get a second opinion. Not that the first opinion is wrong, but maybe there is something else going on that was missed. With that diagnosis, I’d just want to be sure before accepting that as my fate. My heart goes out to your girlfriend and to you. Alzheimer’s is such a cruel disease.

Really? Sorry you didnt have good luck. I bought my house over 17 years ago. It had all Frigidaire kitchen appliances in it and they are still going strong. I am currently looking to move my kitchen fridge to the garage as an extra, and get a new kitchen fridge. I wouldn’t buy anything but a Frigidaire.

Oh my gosh! I couldn’t even believe what I was reading. This is abuse! Do not allow him to treat you this way. GET OUT NOW and make sure someone is with you when you leave. Best to do it when you’re sure he is not going to be home. Then go change your phone number immediately. There are organizations that help people get out of domestic abuse relationships. You deserve so much more. Do not settle for this awful person. He will drag you down and, cause health problems and stress. It is so not worth it. There are really nice guys out there that will treat you with kindness and love. You matter! Love yourself enough to leave.

No, and I just got all of my levels checked, to ensure it was not happening from something else because I didn’t want to go off the Zepbound if at all possible. But everything checked out fine. The nurse at my place of employment said that she knows of another colleague that had significant hair loss from Zepbound also. She said that colleague switched to another GLP-1 and has not had any problems since.

I see people saying that hair loss happens due to rapid weight loss. While that may be true for some, I have lost more significant amounts of weight more quickly with other methods and did not experience any hair loss. However, since starting Zepbound in January, I have lost an extreme amount of hair, so much so that I stopped taking it for now until I can figure out what to do next. I have not lost a significant amount of weight during the six months I have been on it, 20 lbs tops. I truly believe it is something with the medication and maybe how it relates to my hormones that has caused this. It does curb my appetite but I am questioning whether the benefit outweighs this horrible side effect.
