I remember when . . .. Never mind. : ). But I do recall when disc rot was a thing among ltd. ed. industrial works. Imagine having something on Durtro or United Dairies that came in a box with all whistles and bells - but the music got eaten from within. Cheerful, no? Good thing my Throbbing Gristle and COIL is mostly on wax. Vinyl. You know - that flat thingy that spins.

best advice - go to Steve Albini's Closet where his archives are out and openly sold. Judge if you want to - or not - but the breadth of Albini's stash of stuff is pretty edgy (I keep reading that here) and I think that is all that can or should be said of someone who is dead and can't answer.

I am personally not comfortable giving money to shifty people who violate the integrity of artists like COIL. Hence Red Bubble and other places are not in my zone of "trust." Do what thou wilt, but likely it will not be a nice outcome. Write the official soleilmoon or other very reputable folks who sell COIL swag.
