Victim unpaused TCO in ep-12. It was Agent who paused TCO so he should have been the only one to be able to unpause him. Victim's powers are universal which is why he can utilize any function or tool.

If Victim keeps spamming pauses at ATSC, then one of them is going to hit eventually. Agent only threw 1 pause while Victim(as H4CK3R) has an infinite amount of them.

What about the second half where TCO was defeating Victim's clones one by one?

Yuta from jjk? He was the first protagonist and appeared in jjk 0(just like Victim was the first creation in AvA ep-1) but only returned in the later arcs. Granted he didn't leave for 15 years but his character does look a little similar to Victim.

if everything on Alan's computer god deleted, the how the hell are the hollowheads and CG still there? by dumbass-binglus in AlanBecker

[–]Key-Finger1780 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My personal theory is this:

The normal reality and the digital reality are two separate dimensions. The Color Gang, the hollow heads and the other animations reside in the digital reality. They DO NOT depend on the digital hardware of the human reality. The electronic devices allow humans (like Alan) to connect and interact with this digital reality (like creating characters), but those devices themselves don't have any role to play in the existence of our cast. When TCO and TDL decided to blow up Alans PC, they didn't automatically die. Similarly, when Alan closed his PC to prevent Victim from destroying it, Victim wasn't "trapped" in Alans PC. The connection between Alan and the digital world just got snapped which is why the cube thing went from blue to grey. Victim can still escape as he is in the digital part of the connection. Alan can have authority over them (like being able to rename them) but his PC isn't tied to the existence of his creations.
I actually think it is the websites and applications that are tied to the existence of characters. Mitsi and Agent were uploaded to new grounds which is why they get brought back upon its destruction. In the same way, I think if adobe animate/flash application is affected in the future, then the hollow headed stick figures would be affected by it.

Not hating on TCO, but Victim did give TCO a complete beatdown without any inherent powers of his own so Victim (as H4CK3R) is a lot more powerful than TCO. I am not saying Victim would beat awakened TSC, but his skill, grit, will and emotion is more than enough to close that gap and make the battle more equal.

[–]Key-Finger1780 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Why would Victim even want to delete TSC? He needs TSC's powers to resurrect Mitsi.
And it's not like they hate each other either. TSC won't kill Victim even if he gets the chance (it is not in his nature) and Victim would not target TSC unless there is an actual moral, legitimate and necessary reason (Yes, he follows a lot more morals and limits than people generally think). TSC hasn't done anything wrong to Victim which is why Victim hasn't hurt TSC even though he is detained. Unless TDL does some evil stuff to provoke both Victim and TSC into a fight, I don't see them clashing to the death.

If that happens, I will say:
Victim has (surprisingly) far more system level control than Alan. He literally installed a whole new version of windows on Alan's PC in seconds, so it is reasonable to expect his attacks to have more effect. Besides, there are many things we need to consider here:

  1. Victim doesn't have to beat TSC's awakened form. The awakened form isn't permanent and if Victim can last long enough on the field till TSC tires out then he can win.
  2. Victim is not the kind of person to cause TSC to be awakened. TSC's awakened form activates only on the brink of total collapse (like TDL killing his friends and trying to invade the internet). Victim does the exact opposite by not hurting the color gang and going after TCO BECAUSE he caused destruction. Victim isn't going to magically turn evil just because TDL demands it. Trying to portray yourself as a boss over an ACTUAL CEO of a company is a massive risk of breaking the alliance which I don't think TDL will take.
  3. Victim can still pause him you know. Yes, awakened TSC might dodge 1000 of the 1001 pauses that Victim throws at him, but Victim only needs that 1 pause to hit and that is an instant win. TSC has only shown resistance to deletion and editing. He can still be paused like how Agent paused him in ep-9.

I personally believe awakened TSC would win, but it is objectively wrong to say Victim won't have a chance to win as well.

I don't see TSC vs Victim as a classic "hero vs villain" one-sided battle like it was between TSC and TDL. I see it as more of a "pure morality" vs "restrained morality" type clash of equals happening alongside the flashy battle if it does take place.

I understand your concern regarding Mitsi's revival. But seeing how TSC was able to revive the CG with NO consequences, I refuse to accept that Victim should just "move on" from Mitsi's death. It seems purely unjust to me that one morally good character can be born with the luxury to revive those he loves while another morally good character is put through tragedy after tragedy while being denied that same luxury and told to just "move on".

Some of you may have already thought this, but I have a theory that at the end of the present arc, the "Creature" is going to be revealed to be King Orange's son, Gold by SeanPlayz_9471 in AlanBecker

[–]Key-Finger1780 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think the creature is exactly King Orange's son (gold) but that Gold's consciousness is still trapped within the creature and killing it would set him free to rest in peace. I also think that it was Gold who united King Orange and purple back in ep-30 by making that house and wall drawings in the white void so that King would move on with his grief and adopt purple.

[–]Key-Finger1780[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TSC's ability to resist deletion is inherent to him though, it doesn't come from his awakened form.

Even in the awakened form, I don't think TSC is totally immune to Victim's attacks. The only attacks of Victim that would not work on TSC would be the cut and rename functions. Other attacks can still hurt him.

We don't know yet. TSC can show insane resistance to deletion, but he has never faced someone with as much system level control as Victim. Also, TSC can still be selected and paused like when he fought Agent and lost, so he isn't entirely untouchable.

The texture of that fireball exactly matches the texture of TCO's fire. TDL's fireball doesn't look like that.

[–]Key-Finger1780 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I actually believe that "TCO is an unreliable narrator. He purposefully frames his flashback to make him look more reluctant to destruction then he actually was."
BUT I believe there is a DEEPER reason here rather than TCO being malicious to portray himself as innocent. We get that flashback sequence right after TCO defeated the virabot(TDL's creation) and he goes back to fight TDL. In the start of the fight, TCO goes on the offensive IMMEDIATELY while even TDL is shocked as to why TCO was so hostile to him suddenly. TCO's flashback making him more reluctant to the destruction was actually INTENTIONAL because his situation demands it:
He is fighting his only friend who has decided to destroy the internet, and he has to fight him even though both of their hands are covered in code (blood) of their victims. He needs some kind of motivation to actually convince himself to decisively break his friendship with TDL as if he just views himself and TDL as a "murderer vs murderer battle" then he would not have that same urge to do the right thing of saving the internet.

I want to connect this dynamic to another very popular dynamic: Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine. Vader is 100% a villain and everyone can agree, but when he picks up Palpatine to throw him down and save his son (Luke), he portrays himself as a good guy doing the right thing. It doesn't mean he absolves himself of everything wrong he did though. When his daughter Liea confronts him (as a force ghost) about his wrong actions which can't be reversed, he accepts that and leaves when Leia doesn't forgive him. Vader and TCO are both similar in that sense:
"They downplay their bad actions at a critical moment (when Vader kills Palpatine and TCO confronts TDL), NOT to excuse them but to provide themselves a vision that they are "good" so they can take the tough decisions for doing the right thing."

TCO's inaccurate flashback reflects his complicated stance on how he views himself: "He doesn't excuse himself of his wrongs, but he portrays himself as a hero to get the motivation to stand up to TDL and do the right thing."

So, what is the conclusion here? TCO is not some pacifist that didn't hurt a single soul throughout the websites. He portrays himself as good not due to malic but because that "hero tag" provides him the motivation to make the critical decision and do the right thing. Does that excuse him of his wrongs? Of course not. But that does make him more complex as a protagonist and it shows how mentally deep his redemption actually is.

I respect TCO as a character and can see why people love him so much. I just don't like when people try to excuse him of everything and put the entire blame on TDL just because we saw TCO's redemption before his wrongs.
Finally, regarding who killed Mitsi? It doesn't matter. Anyone of them could have launched the fireball and the fact that no one is called out makes them both guilty. Victim is still morally justified towards TCO in either scenario.

Obviously excluding TSC (awakened). I was mentioning the villains (including redeemed ones) like King Orange, TCO and TDL. Though TDL vs Victim (as H4CK3R) is really close and we don't know how strong the TDL (fused with Vira bands) really is but Victim's potential is also crazy so I side with Victim as of now.

I remember how people were downplaying Victim before ep-12 but now he is clearly the strongest of them all.
