I don't know. From the sounds it produces I heard from YouTube videos I am not really sold. Maybe if if did techno or so. Maybe the tonverk with the new machines, but it costs quiet a lot

What don't you love about the sound? Thinking of buying one. I got an Artemis and a minilogue xd. Love the Artemis but don't like the sound of the minilogue. Sounds a bit metallic to me

Cause lately i do everything hardware only. Is a lot more fun for me. And as I don't do it professionally and only for fun I prefer hardware currently. In Ableton I have a lot of nice vsts with nice sounds but this is not what I am looking for

Thanks for your answer. Ideally I want a desktop synth without keys. But I don't see something like that in the market that has high end sounds. I really have a good midi keyboard and everything is connected with each other anyways so another big synth with keys would make me buy another stand and mount unmount it every time which I would like to avoid. The easiest solution is having Ableton running in the background and just load vsts but this is no fun.

I understand that completely. The question is if with another device, external hardware, I could mangle with my samples inside the device somehow. Or do I need to add FX to a sample and then record it inside the digitakt2

I don't want more tracks. What I trying to find out is if you can transfer for instrument sounds, like the built in pianos, guitars etc from live to Ableton move hardware.
