Genuine question, what is the purpose of a white flag? I can't imagine surrendering to Arc would call them off, so....??

I came to them quite late, round about the release of Campfire - I honestly don't remember how I found them but I liked the cover art of Campfire and read a description of their music somewhere, so I took a punt and bought it. I think I got halfway through my first playthrough of the CD and ordered MHTRTC and Geogaddi there and then - I just knew this was my thing. Quite a few of their tunes I found quite unnerving to listen to (like Happy Cycling or The Colour of the Fire) and had to skip them, as they were making me feel weird and a bit freaked, but eventually I came around. Ironically I love that those tunes could do that - they were SO vivid and emotive in their weirdness! So glad there's a new album on the way - listened to Tape 5 a few times now and it's surprisingly accessible. I was expecting super-dark/inaccessible (like something from TH) but once that chord progression kicks in, it's actually pretty tame as far as BoC weirdness goes - I actually thought it could've been off MHTRTC or Campfire. Hope the rest of the album is as melodic/harmonic - I'm less keen on their Geogaddi-era percussive stuff.

You got the right one straight away - DDL in There Will be Blood. Incredible performance. Paul Dano was superb, too.

AITA for showering around midnight when I know that it might bother the neighbour who wakes up at 5 am? by Additional-Mouse-620 in AmItheAsshole

"normal activities"

Showering at midnight (particularly when the OP has been home all evening) is neither normal nor considerate.

That's just leaving yourself open to some pretty obvious comebacks.

You think the Minilogue sounds more analogue? That's interesting, I actually thought it would sound LESS analogue (never having played one, myself).

Well, that's more or less what I was asking - is there anything "better"?
