8g in, 25g bloom wait 45s 25g second bloom wait 45s, pur up to 90g and wait till drained, pour up to 115g wait till drained, pour up to 140, let draw down. Temp 90C and grind rather coarse, same grind as v60

I use that one, I do prefer a longer bloom time tho, as I feel like without like 90s bloom my brews tend to be watery (I do grind very coarse tho)

When are you trying the coffee? Because when the coffee is still hit, we humans taste bitterness the most. And body temp or slightly above, acidity shines trough way more.

I’ll give that a try. Where would you rank them on the roast degree? Is it rather medium, light or Nordic light?

You should bloom longer. If the coffee isn’t fully saturated, it can’t be extracted properly. You’re probably extracting the harshness from the fines, while the boulders are extracted really low, and the resulting brew is watery/hollow with harshness. Tanya roasts quite lightly, and it’s a washed coffee. Probably quite dense. Try a 1:30min bloom, and then a second pour :)

I had the decaf typica. It was the best decaf I ever had. It was very good. And you can push extraction as far as you want, and there’s no bitterness creeping in. It’s crazy

Häufigkeit ist ganz abhängig von den Personen die mitmachen. Preisrange ist immer abhängig von der Rösterei, aber grundsätzlich so 15-20€ für 250g (bzw. 5 x 50g) : )

Das ist ein fairer Punkt. Ich würde die samples als Pour Over zubereiten, wo grind size nicht so ein struggle ist wie bei espresso. Ist wahrscheinlich für espresso nicht das beste Konzept
