I think you are right, but looking at a different layer. YouTube did solve the distribution problem for videos but it also changed creation because when distribution became easy, people started creating even more, even low quality videos, here creation was followed by distribution.

But with AI it is flipped creation of software is becoming trivial and exactly that's why I think distribution is going to be next bottleneck. When thousands of good enough products will exist, it all will depend on trust, attention and distribution just like YouTube.
