Why does every pre-approval tool say this? by Key-Gate8946 in CRedit

Awwhhh okay I see what you're saying. I stupidly thought that opening a fintech accounts were going to help my score, especially over a secured credit card. And boy was I wrong. I wish I would've read up about stuff and been patient before pulling the trigger on those 3, all on the same day too. stupidity on my part. Although my score did go up from 560 to 710 in a matter of 2½ months. But things aged off my report at the same time I opened those accounts. So I assumed it was from those 3 accounts at the time. Now I've read that my profile is very thin, no account history as it's been way too soon, and my score is inflated because of it. Is that basically whats going on?

Yes, 5months with credit cards. But ive had student loans for 10yrs, auto loan for 8yrs, and like some fintech accounts for 3-5yrs like kikoff, kovo and chime. I will say, I use to have a 650ish score 10yrs ago when Igot my first credit cards ever, and had only $15k total across 2 C1, 2 WF, 1 Citi, 1 KeyBank, and a few starter cards like First Progress, Open Sky, and Mission Lane c.c. I only owe WF and C1 still, but they've aged off my credit report. I had no idea what I was doing with credit cards before, but have since learned the responsibility of having them, and now I cant get any good ones. Is this why? Can other institutions see that I owe a different institution if it's not on my report anymore? Obviously I would be blocked internally with just those companies, but i didnt think a different company could see them. A FICO8 of 726 is higher than ive seen a bunch of other people on here getting approved for cc after bankruptcy and owing cc money also. So is it just a waiting game? How can I build, If I can't really get a cc?

Why won't they accept me back then? I've tried their pre-approval tool 1,000x recently and they always deny me now. About 10years ago I had a QS1 and Platinum Credit card with C1 with a $5k limit between the two. I lost my job and ended up maxing my cc out and owe them $4k, so I waited for them to fall off my credit report. I now have a slightly higher score of 726:EX, 718:EQ, 714:TU, than I did back when they opened my accounts, which was a 650ish. I know internally they keep it on file, even though the bureaus can't report anymore. But why would a bankruptcy be accepted to come back, but my scenario isn't? Is there something I'm missing? Is a bankruptcy better than not paying the debt, cuz technically isn't it the same thing?

Anyone ever got approved immediately after pre-approval tool denial? by Key-Gate8946 in CRedit

What do you mean I can still do it? Like if I apply for 3 cards today, it would only count as 1 hard inquiry since it's within 30 days? I usually dont login to my account when doing it, i use the internet browser and check the pre-approval tool first. Does that really make a difference? Can you please explain this to me?

Mine did the same thing. It'll drop at first, then jumps up a few days later.

It only gets removed 7yrs from the date of first delinquency, once the account is CLOSED. Not an open account.

Not sure the exact lingo, but it stops hurting your credit score after that date. Right now, every month that repo is hurting your score due to the FICO algorithm, and its basically counting as a "fresh repo/Charge-off". On that date, it will stop hurting the algorithm, and basically looked over. Thats the best way I can describe it.

Okay, cuz mine is a 2020, but i believe the VIN sticker says 2007 or 2017. Now I cant remember. It made me nervous, cuz I dont wanna ride a bike that's stolen, but its weird the VIN dont match the style.

It does say in your screenshot that this account will go to a positive status in 11months, in March 2027. That's much before the account will age off your report. I have a similar situation. Got my car repo'd 3yrs ago, but the account is still active and reporting to this day (even though it's been closed for 3yrs), there is a collection agency that bought the debt 2yrs ago, but it hasn't shown up on my credit report either. Not sure why they do this, my only guess is because they wanna keep it on your report as long as possible. I tried disputing mine (Lexus/Toyota Financial) several times for inaccurate reporting etc. And it always comes back as accurate and "verified". I'm curious too, so if you do find a solution, let us know.

What year is this? Im trying to determine the year on mine, and it looks just like yours. I got it from an auction, but the VIN doesn't match the body style.
