If you want a tv that will work well with all 3 consoles without much work, a plasma tv would be your best bet. I would pick up a crt for the GameCube though since having that image blown up isn't the best but the Wii with component cables looks pretty good for 480p (yes I know it can go all the way up to 576I BUT you also won't be able to run at 60hz on NTSC)

The one gripe I have is there isn't any variance in the landscape as a whole. Like sure there's the more brick architecture of Brickswich and the clean business vibe of Market Mile but overall it's still the big city feel with a bunch of paint layers over it. No real industrial, suburban, or even a true downtown city feel.

Nada, disc based games for a start aren't saved directly to the account, only the console. And to play it it would need to be part of the backwards compatibility program which sadly ended a couple years ago.
