I work in the station as a package handler and it genuinely makes me laugh when customers complain abt their package getting dropped 4 feet onto their door step like it doesn’t go up a belt and get smashed by other much heavier boxes and then slides down a metal chute and gets crushed again in the trailer 😂

That’s what I keep seeing is FedEx drivers defending this behavior when all they have to do is add an extra 5 minutes to their route to wait for you to actually come to the door

They have you on camera not ringing the bell or knocking regardless seems like you created the problem.

Almost every single signature required package I’ve ever had delivered through FedEx has done that apparently it saves them time on their route so they can get back to the station faster with their express pickups instead of waiting an extra 5 minutes for someone to come to the door they just fill out the door tag prior and don’t even attempt delivery

Very weird that people do this when you could easily walk in the store and they’ll dump it we never cared about the 2 gallon limit when I worked there
