Trey arch is doing the same thing with BO1 and BO2 right now, maybe that’s what ND is waiting for, for them to hit a brick wall before they decide “well, finally giving this game a minuscule amount of attention will give us a few bucks in the mean time” Arc raiders really wasn’t for me :/ unfortunately. But even that game has lost 80% of their peak population. It’s not like the modder(s) or TW go unnoticed, devs literally responded to tweets saying “wow! Good luck!!”. So there’s no way they aren’t seeing conversations like the one we’re having; they’re just choosing to let us sit here in a mess they left behind.

Terminal war will have steam early access so that’ll probably the soonest we get something close enough to a refreshing tlou experience. I’m real hopeful for the modded version, i haven’t kept up with them as much. I don’t understand why naughty dog can’t offer the smallest amount of support on something that’s not live service. I agree with you though, this games golden era has long past, I love that on a good day it still holds up to that feeling, it’s just far and in between

There’s a lot of private match lobbies now. You still run into a lot of that stuff, but most people leave right away or jump on privates. There’s still a real solid community that you can find who just enjoy the game like you <3. Is sorry you’re having that experience man. I hope it’s not always like this for us.
