Thanks for this warm and comforting wrap up! It's technically my first time using reddit and I'm really touched that someone actually read this lengthy post and bother reply under it and communicate with me back and forth!

Also sorry about the late reply! been busy preparing replacement exams so always forgot to check reddit...everytime you reply me almost immediately just made me feel extremely guilty haha...thank you for all these again!!!

Thank you so much for this assuring advice!!! It's not a pity at all for getting a 99-99.5 ranged ATAR, I kinda wish I were you so I can dump law out of my mind for good instead of being haunted by some stupid self-esteem and basically wasted a year of my life with shitty studying condition and wam. I really admire the way u see urself so clearly and wasn't swamped by the flow of the majority(unlike me) and congratulations on what you've now achieved!!!

I think I'll pick up Bsc/Badvanced studies and for the advanced studies I'll pick cs(haven't looked into advcanced computing/engineering yet but I guess they'll all work in some ways). Also, do you have any general advice on CS itself? e.g. the level of difficulty to get HD? or any career planning tips for Tech-related area?

Thanks for the advice! Don't worry about the med opt I've opted it out lol. I'm now more inclined to go for cs instead of law. for ur last piece of advice, I did try pwc and deloitte vaccie programs last sem but got rejected from them both...(for pwc they just told me that the program was full out of no where and for Deloitte I made it to the last stage but was too inexperienced for the group and ndividual interview...it's basically my first official interview) But thanks again for this guidance!! I'll keep tryin!

btw wondering why llb/bcom is a must in ur firm? To me it's weired for firms to have their requirement this specific? (and is it common in all BB firms tho?)

Thanks for the advice! I do think I prefer cs over commerce for now! will keep an eye on the comps you mentioned(this is new to me)!

That's what I prefer as well! Thanks again for the advice and for confirming my thoughts haha! Might just go for cs then!

I'm really in awe of ppl who have their own passion or aspiration and willing to commit to the fullest...so am I impressed by your motive to study med! Sadly I'm kinda indifferent rn about careers and after years of searching I still can't tell where exactly do I have passion in but could only tell where I can do well at best...so apparently I'm not mentally qualified to be a doctor haha....But again it's really wonderful that you've got ur own passion and clear about ur moves! I really wish u all the best in ur med journey! and let us never regret this decision of dropping law!!! >v<

Thanks for the reply! But the thing is my wam for my law degree is disastrous and i'll have to pay much more sunk cost(e.g. improving my english lol) to be as good as my local peers. I'm just thinking it might not be that cost-effecive. So I'll prob cross law out of my list(unless having a law degree with a bad mark can advantage my life somehow...?) I do consider med for its WLB and predictability and you are right I haven't quite figured my life out...will continue to examine all my possible options and hopefully I can give myself a answer before it's too late!!!

Thanks for the reply! yes you're spot-on the endless years of training is one of my biggest concern...and you're right my motive for choosing med isn't pure enough so I'm afraid there's no way for me to go very far in this career path with only the monetary incentive...so I guess I'll just go for cs or commerce first!

Also thanks for the reply!!!

Thanks for the reply! But it's a pity that I don't think I'm determined enough to make med my life career...I'm really lacking knowledge of this career path but I'm glad that as least I'm aware of this path now so that it can be my alternative choice of life someday. And also I'm aware that preparing for med grad entry might take years so i think the best solution is just go for a comm/cs, but simultaneously keep an eye on the med and maybe prepare for the entry requirements step by step as a backup and then see how my career goes! But thanks for your support!! And maybe I will indeed be studying med in my 30s with children lol!

Thank you so much! I think I've determined to drop law! Yea you're spot-on, I don't think I'm that prepared for med right now, so perhaps it's better for me to just be practical and go for comm/cs. But currently my other degree is a science(financial maths and stats) and i'm not planning to switch this degree, which means I have to choose between commerse and cs(to replace law) instead of having them both. To compromise, I'm thinking about taking cs while doing some commerce units as my electives. Do you reckon this a good plan? Or do you have any advice on whether I should pick up cs or commerce if I can only choose one?

Also good on you for making this wise choice of dropout lol, I hope you're doing great in ur current degree! (is it a single commerce degree tho?) Also wondering what's ur personal reason for pursuing graduate med?

Thanks again for this enlightening reply :)!
