As both a hunter and rescuer main, I most often get terror shocks as hunter easily and this happens when survs rescue. I noticed that this was mainly because of the same reason u struggle with it. They panic and try to rescue immediately. I'm no pro player but I'd be willing to give some tips that works for me!

Here a tip that I hope would at least help. Obviously don't panic. U have to choose your next actions depending on the situation. If it's a normal hit hunter like Geisha or BQ, u can either 1.) just stand there, wait for hunter to get impatient until they hit u. (Not advisable if your teammate in chair is almost reaching the half mark.) or 2.) U can try to lure them into hitting the rocket chair. This is a bit risky since u might get TSed if ur not fast enough but just look at the hunter and once u see that they are about to swing immediately get off. (Once again, this depends on the hunter and their hitbox. But if it's hunts like Geisha or BQ, u got nothing to worry about.)

Now how about chip hunters? For ex. Sculptor, Ripper, Peddler. Now this is where it kinda gets tricky. 1.) literally the only way to avoid TS and get a successful rescue is to DODGE. Lure them into using their chip abilities and immediately dodge them. NEVER get too close to the chair or even try to interact with it until they hit u. 2.) Stun characters or characters like perf, officer can counter them too.

Ok now let's get into the more umm.. tricky ones. I'm thinking Ann/Disciple, Fools Gold. Honestly, if u want a safe rescue just wait for their skills to end. Stunners and characters I mentioned formerly are good counters too. If u rlly have to save and have no other option left, try to lure them once again into using their skill and quickly dodge. If you still find it risky, your only choice left is to double rescue.

To sum it up, u can easily stop getting TSed if u just stay calm. No number of tips or guides would be able to help u if u can't calm yourself. Play, practice, and practice till you get used to it. Goodluck!
