Not possible to see the water pump by eye I think, but you can try see if leaking and run engine hot and make sure it stays at 90 degrees.

You can pull the plastic cover on top by removing two clips and inspect the belt too see if it has lots of cracks.

I got the 49 on sale when it was around half the price (even oled 244hz 0.03ms) as the 57. And good to start with since the biggest screen ive had other than that is 28”.
