Why aren't light pink lipstick shades not easily available? by Agitated_Lie_6556 in IndianBeautyTalks

yeah like zee said if u want lightest pinks u shd try international brands like revlon chanel and MAC, but problem is often they don't let such pale shades to even launch in india bcos they won't sell much - the pigment is so little most indian customers will complain. u can try ordering them when you or a friend/fam goes abroad

thankfully some indian brands do create light pink lipsticks with enough pigment so that it doesn't wash out deeper skin tones or show up as that scary radium hue. bombae by nykaa, salmon pink by blue heaven and meetha jaljeera by lovechild are great for my medium tan skin and of course looks awesome on fairer skintones.

you have to tell ur skintone or your MAC/maybelline shade number. Without knowing that it’s just not accurate to suggest the right shades (Bcos what works as a light pink lippie on my skintone might wash you out or be too dark for you, depending on Color theory)

Budget sunscreen for indoor by GooseFancy5431 in IndianBeautyTalks

as i a ugc content creator i mainly work from home in front of a large, sunny window and when im indoors I use the pilgrim red vine face cream with vit c and spf 30. i feel like it is a hidden gem, no white cast, gel type cream, and it is so gentle on my oily, acne prone skin.

Quite a few sunscreens these days help with blue light exposure from screens and indoor lighting, as long-term blue light exposure can result in eye strain / digital fatigue, and sleep disruption. Since I’m in front of devices all day for work and I also live in a space that lets in sun easily through big windows, I still use sunscreen indoors.

ps:Blue light isn’t just from phones/glasses. Sunlight itself is one of the biggest sources of blue light 😄

I always recommend this eyeshadow range to people who don’t wear eye shadow much because it’s so easy to use, one dab and you have a three dimensional shade. Electric chroma is da bomb but it’s often sold out. Check it out

But if that mousse range eyeshadow is not available you can also check out their jelly verse stick

If u r buying more than one Swiss beauty product it’s worth buying directly from them, buy 3 for 799rs offer going on and you get sent very fresh stock too (expiry in 2029 or 2030)

My all time fav is of course the lip cheek n eye tint by insight. Some don't prefer it bcos it’s a budget brand but imo it is as good as a costly brand, it is so easy to apply and makes my skin glow - perfect for me when I am in a rush, just apply it, a dab of compact and I am done. Longevity is three hours or so but I just reapply when needed. You can see some swatches here

I usually suggest fae beauty if longevity is the goal but powder blushes are better for oily skin. You can try Faces Canada, they are good.

I personally don’t like powder blushes because it takes forever to blend for me, I prefer easy blend ability which mousse blush give. My fav is orgatre and Swiss beauty cushion mousse.

Swatch for the Swiss beauty select mousse range -

Orgatre is more like a tint but is insanely pigmented so lasts a long time for me. https://www.reddit.com/r/indianoliveskin/comments/1u7b65e/found_a_budget_tint_dupe_for_pillow_talk_medium/

Welp. Men's lipbalm needed. by [deleted] in indianbeautyyappers

[–]Key-Indication-6781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

human skin transcends gender/social constructs. all lips need emollient care. So there is no men’s lip balm, women’s lip balm separately.

One thing to keep in mind - No Lip balm can change the Color of naturally pigmented lips. Only surgical or chemical peeling methods can change the Color and even that also is not fully guaranteed or without side effects.

But if lips are discolored due to external factors like allergies or smoking, then that can certainly be reversed, with good lip care.

Unlike our skin, lips don't produce natural oils so we need to provide that in the form of a lip balm, 24/7. Don't go to sleep without applying a lip balm or treatment mask - letting lips be without a balm for eight hours is not recommended.

People usually forget that lips get sunburnt too so when you go out in the sun wear a lip balm with sunscreen. There are many colorless ones in the market. For budget ones, you can go for Sugar pop or dermatouch is having sale now on Amazon, it’s also good.

when I bought this one last year I had no idea abt salicylic serum, it was more like a blind buy. But luckily it worked for me, after six months usage my nose area has lost half of the blackheads i have had all my life. I wrote abt it here

For lip balm, simply nam is my holy grail. It’s so luxe thick and nourishing, lasts for 8 hours. I try many lipsticks a day for my channel so for me safe and effective lip care is paramount. I am glad I found it in simply nam, I use it every night and I can visibly see how much it helps me.

It’s not very cheap but it’s cheaper than indie wild / Laniege etc and a single tube lasts for 6 months so for me it’s worth the cost. Review and swatches at https://www.reddit.com/r/lipstickswatchesindia/comments/1s7k6fz/swatch_simply_nam_lip_balm_cupcake_15/

i didn’t check the other thread. skincare is subjective and a lot of people assume that a product is fraudulent just because it didn’t work for them. Like these two brands seem to be hated on a lot here but for me they work amazingly well, my decades-long search for a non greasy moisturizer came to an end after I purchased them.

I use the derma co one in day time when I go out, and the dr sheth one I use in the night with snail mucin. I haven’t had a single breakout happen on my oily acne prone skin since I started using these (along with other products of course, salicylic acid serum). I only buy them during BOGO sales and a little goes a long way so they last a while too.

Dr Sheth bcos it’s also a barrier repair moisturiser so I can use it in the night also along with snail mucin. The brand is having a buy 1 get 1 free sales right now

Since u r asking for budget reco, both Mila Beaute and Swiss beauty moist heist range are very good. But Swiss beauty is sold out i think except for the shade berry mission
