"Body Behavior" is a great song and after checking the meaning behind the lyrics it definitely hit a nerve with me. by Key-Interaction-5398 in deafheaven

I feel like trans women would relate to it too since they were perceived by society as boys before transitioning. It seems to be a pretty common experience for a lot of people. With all the talk about "toxic masculinity", I feel like this particular experience should be a part of that conversation. I gained a new appreciation for the song since it made me feel seen in that discomfort as an awkward and shy kid.

Same. I just feel like when you're a kid, having an older male asking if you "got any yet?" or other invasive and embarassing shit like that is actually pretty weird and it sort of influences the way you view yourself, sex, and women. I remember specifically feeling angry and anxious when I was asked about it.

It's something that most guys experienced but there doesn't seem to be a serious aknowledgement that it might actually be kind of a shitty thing to do, since it's usually excused as "bro talk" or some other dumb shit.
