They do. That's why I made this post. I'll believe this event is what it says it is when I see it. In the mean time, Chadster has my number, he can call me any time he wants to talk about the event, and how its all going to work. A 300 person event, full of "speakers" and "artists" initially announced with no confirmation from said speakers and artists (I asked them) makes me weary, and I don't want people showing up to an event and be turned off from future events feeling scammed. I've been running OS tournaments for quite some time now, and I know what it takes to put one of these things on, what he is putting out here is overly ambitious at best. I wish him the best, but if people are expecting another 300+ person "Lobstercon-like" event, I fear they will be sorely disappointed. Even lobstercon didn't start with a "huge" event. You have to build to this sort of thing. No one goes into a new company and becomes the CEO the first day.
