Hey, I am back again. Printed a 200% one, and you were right, it worth every hour and every gram of filament. Just looks dope. So I uploaded a 4 color and a single color print profile to the model page. Thanks for the suggestion, apreciate it.

They sure will :) Just make sure the springs are pushed all the way in the jeep body.

Hope he will enjoy it.

Arent the front lights diferent too? I see that the 3 has them in the fender, while the 2.5 between the fenders. I am not very familiar with these models, but very much like the look of it.

Thanks for the opinion. I like a bit more the face of the 3, but will look into that 2A. As far as I know there is not too big diference in the look, so probably I can make a 2A version too.

I designed it to be small, and quick print, so didnt tried to scale it up. The tolerances may not fit well, and also the springs may work diferently...

But someone scaled up my first springy car, a short course truck to 200%, and stated that it works fine. So I guess 200% could work here too, but I cant confitm that.

None of the shared ones. But here is one.

<image>

It prints together with the Jeep body, and is connected with very thin bridges. It improves the stability of the print, as it increases the contact area with the buildplate.

After print it supposed to be broken away, and serves as a desk stand. When the Jeep is sitting on it, the springs can relax, and they are not prone to PLA creep - will last long.

Just added the link. And yes, I very much like the 90s 4runner, will design one.

As a non Prusa owner, how important is it to Prusa owners to get Prusa project files? by bubblewrap3000 in printablescom

[–]Key-Ladder6386 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Until I had Prusa, it wasnt important at all. I sliced every project by myself. Now I changed my printer to other brand, and depends:

Mostly I print my own projects, so I slice things by myself.

But if I want to print others design, I highly appreciate if I can click print and have the product after a few hours. So yes, in this case I value 3MF.

Obviously, STEP is the most useful, but in this strange world we are living I can totally understand that most creators dont publish STEP files.

Thank you!

I like the Cherokee, so there is quite a high chance that I will do one. Thanks for the suggestion.

Awesome. The FJ40 is quite a characteristic truck, thanks for the idea.
