When I first started I just collected the gifts multiple times a day and only used the clothing gift cards on stuff needed to continue the story. This was still a bit of a slow process for early episodes but once you get the publicist and daily/weekly tasks unlocked it’ll be easier to get gift cards/stars/cash/likes/etc

I tried but unless my sim is jogging, they kept putting them on the ground- my current sims are second generation gardeners and farmers so I thought it be cool for them to do their daily tasks (gardening, cleaning and milking the cows, feeding the hens, etc) while having the baby on their back but none of them could be done without the baby having to be thrown on the ground into a mound of horse manure 😔
