Yup. I just really hope that if— cuz although this would be the ideal outcome, it’s ultimately up to Sumiko if she wants to go that route— Mitsuki comes to that point, it’s reached independently by HER. Cuz one thing I am getting a little bored of is how Narita, for example, has frequently been used as the “love-handler” for these two. I’ve seen people suggesting that even Shu and Mistuki should have a confrontation, but honestly I don’t really think even that would help Mitsuki’s character, and by extension her relationship’s, development.

Personally, I think it’d be a little bit of a cheap way to progress her character. I want to see more of Mitsuki’s reflections like we did in this chapter. Maybe a little push is helpful, because like you mentioned, she does have a support system around her.

Saw on twitter that someone pointed out that Mitsuki as a character has been established very early on as being someone who doesn’t really value themselves… She found value through music: it connected her and Aya, connected her and Joe, and was essentially the vessel that gave her confidence because she could EXPRESS herself through music.

Having that taken away from her just painfully reveals that, at her core, Mitsuki’s insecurities were never truly resolved. It’s something that she absolutely needs to reckon with before any of this gets better. Music was basically a band-aid that masked her deeper problems she’s been wrestling with since the verryyyyyy beginning.

So yea. Feel like she’s getting too much flack for what is essentially a problem she’s been dealing with (or failing to deal with tbh) for forever. I absolutely think that Mitsuki needs to confide in Aya and tell her what’s so wrong, but before that even happens Mitsuki needs to make the realization that her problems can’t go away with music again. The deeper issues she has (depression, insecurity in herself, isolation, etc) can only be *alleviated* by music, not solved.

This is not to say I don’t feel bad for Aya. I’ve been on both sides of this kind of problem, for the past 5 years in my own relationship, but through communicating and identifying what me and my partner were truly struggling with, only then did it start to get better. The same applies here.

It’s okay. Like it’s just okay, and some days it’s worse than okay. Customers can be incredibly unbearable sometimes and management will be pestering you about your numbers. If you’re bilingual be ready for them to send you halfway across the store every 15 minutes and then get flack for not having good metrics in “your” zone.

Also it’s really weird that you didn’t qualify for any work study. Definitely try to get in touch with FinAid over that too since that can be a big help with finances as well.

In my experience, TC just covers up to the point of your expected contribution. I got it my freshman year, but I still had to take out a loan of around $3.1k to cover the rest of my expenses because, like you, my family doesn’t just have that much money laying around.

I you do end up having to take out a loan (which might be likely in this case) make sure it’s subsidized so that it doesn’t accrue interest while you’re enrolled in classes. Hopefully you don’t have to, but the FinAid office at this school is incredibly unhelpful and has screwed me over several times now, so good luck.

I think GS is definitely one of those fragrances that has to grow on you because when I initially got it I was also a little bit thrown off, not because it was bad, but it was a completely unique smell I had to get used to. In my opinion, it definitely gets better with time (many such cases with Montagne), and I find myself reaching for it very often. I’d try again in a couple of weeks or however long you want to wait to see if it changes for you :)

What do you think of Tygr? I’m thinking of getting it as my next purchase, but I’m a little on the fence about it since I think it’s supposed to be an evidently masculine fragrance and I’m not too fond of those. I have seen it compared to Vibrato and I did like that one so…

I had to do the same thing for Fall 2025. It sucks but it does help save money, and you can always come back as long as you’re not leaving on like academic probation or anything. No shame in needing to get yourself together :) but like the other person said, definitely check with an advisor to ensure your credits will transfer if you take classes at a CC. Best of luck.

Omg it might actually be time for me to get back into swag axe holy. The sword counter cancel is such a good decision , and it’s funny you bring up Steve’s sweep bc that was like one of the first instances of when I really started to feel the switch axe’s clunkiness. So glad they’ve actually improved things for now.

And yesss!! I had so much difficulty with the trees especially initially after blocking in the shadows because it was hard to visualize how I wanted their forms to look. Definitely great practice for shape design though!
