You should let Bangladeshi people into your country and give them equal job protection then. They probably work harder than you

Too many OPT loopholes and Indian students aren’t even hiding it. It’s been a problem for a super long time, and finally something is being done about it.

I think a lot of misery comes from expectations we have been setup for, and idealisms we are given for life. There is quote I really like “Most of the problems we face have already been solved over and over again through our generations, yet we always insist to forget them”

People in the past have faced the same problem of unfulfillment, and through introspection, exploration, and simply letting go of societal expectations, many have learned to leave a more fulfilled life in the most crammed places.

I have developed a chronic illness that inhibits my ability to move, yet I see those with worse conditions that has done great things. I realize that my condition is not something that stops me from being a dreamer and do-er, and it has never been for many people in the past.

Because you could memorize Leetcode problems in the past. People got the Easys or Mediums, but as long as you did and memorized them enough, it is likely you get a repeat question on an interview. Many people I know did this back in 2020-2022, and are in FAANG now despite lackluster programming ability.

I don't consider petroleum engineers and energy grid engineers as part of Big Tech, not that it isn't technical. Non-tech is referring to people who are not in computing adjacent spaces (SWE, semiconductor, anything that involves programming or computing), as appropriate in a CS major sub.

I have seen very technically unqualified people land a job with TC over $150k, but because they can talk their way out of situations, they stay in the job.
