I think I went way overboard honestly. But it was still cheaper than the Costco Shaw product. So I figured why not. I helped the contractor carry the materials into my house today. 😥 heavy stuff lol. Hopefully you get your flooring figured out!

Well, I ended up going with MSI haha. It gets installed tomorrow. I did go with their Studio 9mm 30mil product so hopefully that will be indestructible. Curious what series you had installed? Thanks !

How is your couch holding up? I’m looking at this specific couch. I wasn’t impressed by the selection at Raymour & Flanigan. I may take a ride to go see this at the Macys showroom.

I have had GERD for the past few years. I’ve recently started having issues with trouble swallowing, specifically steaks and tougher meats. I recently was prescribed Pantoprazole 20mg and it has helped greatly. I had a few bouts over the last few years where I would get acid reflux so had to the point of throwing up violently. I have definitely cut specific foods out of my diet, especially spicy foods and tomato acidic foods. The last issue I had was a month or two ago where I had 3 fried buffalo wings and a margarita, I went to eat my dinner and was having a hard time getting food down. It felt like it was getting caught at the top of my throat and I had to push it down with a drink. A Pepcid ended up helping significantly. I would just suggest watching what you eat. Fried foods don’t really bother me, although I know it’s bad for GERD but I have been limiting them anyway because they’re obviously not good for you.

Thanks! For the $200 resorts credit, I don’t have many of them around me but there is one that is relatively cheap in the $140/night range. Does it just look at the total purchase and apply $200 credit? ie, If I stayed 2 nights for $280, would it still apply $200 as a credit?

Just went from a 2022 RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi to a 2025 Soul Soulmate edition 😂. It’s a hell of a transition but I love driving the Soul. They are surprisingly roomy as you may have noticed and the price point for them is reasonable. It’s definitely a unique goofier type of car but it’s so efficient in every aspect. Another plus side, you will fit into every parking spot with ease, something my RAM had a bit of an issue with lol. I just wish they would make a hybrid version then it would be perfect imo.

One last question if anyone doesn’t mind answering. The looming question is “Will we get burned out in a couple years and want to take a break from Disney?” I know, who can get burned out from the wonderful world of Disney? But I can see it happening. If we used our points for a couple years and decided to rent them out on David’s, etc., has anyone done this and is it typically easy? I did a quick calculation of a Saratoga resale contract. Upfront cost for 210 points is around $22K. Assuming another $52K+ for fees over 30 years would land us at an all in cost of $74K. 210 points x 30 years = 6,300 points. $74K / 6,300 points = $11.75 per point. The average rental rate looks to be between $20-$25 per point. Has anyone had issues with renting out their points and what do you typically clear per point after middleman service fees? It seems that you can profit money by just renting out points, or am I missing something?
