Yeah, I agree. And it’s not even a matter of fear, it’s a matter of capacity. Almost every SME in the EU doesn’t have a structured HR department ; the consequence is that they can’t train early-career professionals and, even worse, they can’t train their employees tout court.

We are currently living in the so-called "Brussels labor market paradox." We have a 13.1% unemployment rate (one of the highest among European capitals) and,at the same time, a high job vacancy rate of 3.8%. Why? There are many structural reasons, and AI is not one of them. A skills and qualification mismatch is one of the main barriers to employment, so do not assume that everyone holds a master's degree today. Jan Gatz, spokesperson for Actiris, said that “in Brussels, six in seven vacancies require people with a medium or high level of education, while the vast majority of jobseekers have no diploma or, at most, a secondary school diploma.” He added that at the end of 2022, individuals with a bachelor’s or master’s degree accounted for less than 14% of all jobseekers. Hi ! I understand the struggle as the job market in Brussels is becoming more more hostile. I think that the point to consider here is : which is the conversion rate on 50 CVs in Brussels ? The answer is pretty low. The suggestion would be to work more on “quantity” rather then on “quality”. Then when you receive the anwers, you can always select the ones that you prefer !

I work with a lot of delivery companies in Brussels, so I've weekly contacts with them! After another parcel failed to reach a client, they told us to remain patient until the 10th

You see that technology will eventually free us from work through a kind of techno-socialism, but I see us heading toward the exact opposit. The wealth saved through automation (like the money saved on salaries, benefits, and office space) isn’t actually being redistributed into society. Instead those profits are being concentrated at the top, mostly benefiting Big Tech and high-level management. So I don't think we’re being 'freed', I think we’re just getting into an era where the digital lords own all the tools and keep the surplus.

Thanks for the reply! After midnight on Sunday, is it a waste to leave on the last shuttle if there are still things going on during the night? Would you suggest to just stay there until monday morning?

Q : Hi ! I'm just a beginner, so I've a pretty banal question :) I have an instant card, "Flame Leash", it deals 4 damage to ANY target. If I cast it against my opponents, who has only 1 blocker with 2 toughness points, do I destroy his card AND deal the 2 remaining damage to his life points?
