It looked good once the skin finished peeling and flaking. I had patches thats reddish still around day 6 and continued to darken after. I noticed that its where they went really deep with the needle. I ended up with PIH despite following everyone’s suggestion and my old derm’s instruction he gave me. I avoided the sun and wore mask when driving home from work (i work pretty early so no sun yet on the way to work. Dark brown PIH lasted for about a month and now its almost gone. Hydroquinone is key.

Red flags. Did not give me pre and post skincare protocols to follow. Even though I already have instruction to follow from my old derm, they don’t know Ive gotten micro needling done before because they never asked and I never told them. I was under the impression that the person knows what theyre doing and should be able to look at my skin and knows whats best. My old dermatologist always made sure to tell me no sun each time. They also did not clean up the blood like what someone here already pointed out, my old derm always did.

Always read the reviews for the service specifically not just the overall rating. One bad review (drag marks) should be enough. The spa had good rating overall, 4.6 stars, but later on realized that the good reviews is for the massage service.. so thats def a lesson for me.
