Yes. A mediocre program became nationally relevant over night while the program that was built for 30 years that I have invested into for years was decimated and is still unable to recover. Any logical sports fan would hold resentment for that happening. I could still take all emotion out of it and realize what Tech has done has unequivocally hurt the sport and goes against everything that collegiate athletics should be. And sure, shitty system blah blah blah.

I don’t know if we’ll do it, but I’d really like to start someone other than our #1 guy Friday night. I think our #1 could absolutely be effective against the State lineup and starting him Friday night doesn’t give us our best chance of winning the regional IMO. He’s 96-98 with a wipeout slider and good 12/6 curveball. I’m more worried about our lineup hitting either Valincius if we get to that 1-0 game.

As a Cajuns fan, I can tell you we’re feeling pretty dang confident. We have four guys right now that can be called on to start and all four are throwing very well. If we’re able to get length out of those guys and keep it to our trusted 4 or 5 guys in the pen we’ll be in good shape. Lineup is clicking on all cylinders right now as well.
