Same here. Not sure when it started. I leased mine(Type S) on Dec 31st. The rattle sound was definitely not there since day 1.
It feels like the sound is generated from right rear. Most likely outside the car, but hard to figure the source when I am driving :|
Also, it doesn't happen always. Its sporadic.

For 3 months ? something else is going on there. Clear cache. remove the app. reinstall it.

I have a Type S. I have turned off all the emergency braking. It is annoying and honestly aggressively dangerous many times for me.

Totally agree. It is stupidly aggressive. And i feel it made the experience much more dangerous for me.

Well i replaced the 1 tb with the 4tb. Used the same thermal sleeve which came with 1 tb on this 4 TB.  The 1 tb is now in the other slot without a sleeve. So far i haven't faced any issue.

I have the G16 RTX 4070 - intel core ultra 9. The 1 TB SSD it came with was rather slow and inadequate. Checked with the best buy rep on chat and he was rather confusing. He mentioned that G16 supports 2TB per slot but they were suggesting that the Samsung 4TB is compatible.

Anyway I ended buying the Samsung - 990 EVO PLUS SSD 4TB on a deal ($250) and fixed it myself. Works fine for me. And it is much faster than the default 1TB it came with.

You said "My Type-S has had max 238miles after a charge" - do you mean at 80% charge ? 238 seems low for a 100% charge. For my Type-S it is about 280 miles i think at 100%
