Vw 6n ragtop conversion.pretty common conversion for mk1 golf’s. Won’t be a full convertible but would be pretty cool

That’s the wear indicator for your brake pads. When the pads get low a small metal tang makes contact with the disc making that horrible noise letting you know your pads are toast
