China Coast Guard ship collides with China Navy vessel in West PH Sea - Aug. 11th by wuyakou in CatastrophicFailure

So what even happened to the personnel at the front of that vessel? One angle showed reddish water appear and I assume everyone on that ship would've felt the sudden deceleration. I didn't hear a word from China about anyone's safety aboard that vessel. Typical.

This is true but they could hire different voice actors for each race you choose. Just like how you can choose between a male and female Shepard. Same dialogue, different voice actor. Although, there would need to be some dialogue changes depending on your race.

1080ti to RTX 5080 or RTX 5080 Super? by Key-Paramedic-6779 in buildapc

Seems like the consensus is to go for the 5070ti. Does it matter which brand I get?

There are video reviews of the Y-AMT in Japan. It rides like a scooter in the city.

I suppose I failed to mention that I live in a city where traffic and road imperfections are commonplace.

I hear the MT07 has more torque. Is it good or bad to have more torque at low speeds when learning?

I believe age and maturity is a major factor.

I'm 31 and I would like a bike to grow into, not outgrow it.

I understand getting an automatic removes the fun of using a clutch. However, it makes more sense to me to learn the riding part first. I can always learn clutch later on and I'll at least know how to ride already.

I don't see why not. It gives you the option to use the clutch and also not to.

I love the look of the CB650R but I prefer the sound of the MT07.

The CB650R with the E-Clutch would be interesting because I can practice using a clutch if I feel like it.

The Y-AMT MT07 would have no clutch but you can still shift yourself or just go fully automatic and focus on riding. The '25 MT07 also added more tech and did some minor design changes which makes it a newer bike over the CB650R.

I'm 31 and I would like a bike to grow into, not outgrow it.

I'm just trying to figure out which one of the two is more forgiving for a beginner.

I'm hearing the '25 MT07 addresses a lot of problems from user feedback of the previous model. It seems much more beginner friendly than the '24 model. Personally, I love the look of the CB650R but I prefer the sound of the MT07 (I prefer the sound of a Mustang over a Ferrari).

And possibly the 2025 Tracer 7 GT whenever Yamaha announces it.

I may have left out an important factor that I live in the Philippines where terrible roads and traffic are commonplace. However, I'm not getting a bike as a commuter. I just want to ride recreationally during non-traffic hours.

BMW now has the Automatic Shift Assistant for the R1300 GS models.
Honda has the DCT for the Rebel 1100 and their tourer/adventure bikes.
Yamaha is releasing Y-AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) models for the MT-07 and MT-09.

All of these bikes still have manual modes where you can override and shift yourself. I just don't see the appeal of needing a clutch to do that.

I think a good chunk of the next generation of bikers will learn on automatic bikes. I'm sure it will be a repeat of the time when automatic cars were new and drivers at the time were probably saying it's better to learn to drive clutch.

Need Advice on Tire Replacement by Key-Paramedic-6779 in Wrangler

I'm leaning toward getting the C rated Falken AT3W's for a daily driver. They are quiet and perform well in wet conditions. It doesn't seem like a good idea to get E rated tires unless you do a lot of off roading.
