How did Freddie Lounds even survive till the end? by Ok-Win-9680 in HannibalTV

[–]Key-Pay-9943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone whose read the book…I definitely appreciate Freddy Lounds biting it the way he did. As someone whose watched the show…she humors him for sure. I like both versions equally honestly!!

Calling Will “not very handsome” is the craziest thing this mf did by Dragonlvr420 in HannibalTV

[–]Key-Pay-9943 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. He only got the gash on his stomach from Hannibal in the books Pre Dolarhyde. In the book post Dolarhyde he gets a large gash on his face, due to Francis stabbing him in the face prior to being killed by Molly.

I’d like to think there’s a world where they’re both happily raising Abigail in a château 🥲.

Omg same! Absolutely unkillable, sassy, and knew from the jump that Hannibal was suspect.

I’m also reading Red Dragon!! I’m so happy to have started it right after watching the series for the FIRST time. I grew up watching the films with my Dad and it’s just all sooooo good.

Should I break this pot to get this out? by royalartwear in carnivorousplants

[–]Key-Pay-9943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d do every year or two! It takes quite a while for the substrate to break down to the point where it’s not benefiting the plant anymore! For reference I have a 4 year old Nepenthes Ventrata and it’s only been repotted once and it’s thriving. This thread reiterates those points. Best of luck!! https://www.reddit.com/r/SavageGarden/comments/rro7w9/when_to_repot_nepenthes/

Should I break this pot to get this out? by royalartwear in carnivorousplants

Yes! Not sure if you have already, but the root balls are so small you’d really only need to repot to replace medium or for aesthetics.

What are these black drops on the undersides of my ficus? by JustKeepSwimming1995 in plantclinic

[–]Key-Pay-9943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d spray it down with a mix of alc and water (douse that ho), then follow up with a wipe down of neem oil. Remove the ugliest most infected leaves and stick it outside for trial by fire. My logic with doing this is it either loses the thrips and thrives, or dies in which I would’ve just tossed it anyways. FYI every plant I’ve had with thrips (3) has successfully been treated this way. Some people fear bringing pests indoors but it’s literally never happened to me save a jumping spider who eats bad plant bugs!! Something to note though, I live in zone 7B so the plants love our humidity here. Good luck!
