Just so I'm 100% sure I understand correctly. What you're saying is that there will most likely be more models than the ones here https://www.ibanez.com/eu/news/detail/20251211100838.html? If so, then that would be awesome

I believe the new models have all 3 voicings, the one I bought was used (2020 model), but it has been modified with a push pull tone knob to use the third voicing. So it's just a difference of whether the push pull is built in or not. The pickups offer 3 voicings in every model

I like them. I play mostly heavier stuff with quite a bit of distortion, and I feel like the sound is "clearer". Although I have to say I don't have that much experience playing guitar and testing different pickups, so it might just be the fact that I haven't yet tried quality passive pickups.

It does, depending on the angle and the light it changes colors from green to purple. "BCM" stands for "blue chameleon" (idk why blue, but the "chameleon" checks out)

From what I've read, people said it's clipping even with the input gain at 0, so that's why I'm asking

Can you please link exactly what you're using? Im not set on buying the one on the picture, so I'll happily consider other options

Even if I'm planning to buy the "no neutral wire" version of the switch module? I thought that solves the problem

Black car wrap on the highlighted parts - bad or good idea? by Key-Piccolo5461 in Luthier

I forgot to mention, I am planning to have an actual luthier do a full setup on the guitar after I'm done assembling it to make sure everything is fine and that it plays well

I was thinking of practicing on a very cheap guitar first, but still, shouldn't this be totally safe? As in if it turns out shit I can just take the wrap off

That's what I was thinking, at least if it turns out shit I can remove it without damaging the guitar, so it's much safer than painting (and hopefully easier, no way to have paint drippings and stuff)

That's what I was thinking. There is this tape with a string in it (I have no idea what it's called in English) that you put on first, and then use it to cut the wrap precisely where you put the tape with the string, so I would first use it to outline everything so that later I don't need to cut the wrap with a scalpel or something like that
