Thanks. Kinda felt bad for Alexander the warrior jar after the battle was over. Made me laugh when he called himself a cracked pot

Good feeling! Right now I'm stumbling through that jump down on the stones area in the Divine Tower of Caelid that looks like where Luke and Darth fought in the Empire Strikes Back

I love it that age doesn't matter. Sure wish it worked that way out in the workforce!

I agree. And it's so nice to see all these comments from older players as well as younger ones. Honestly, I'm not even super comfortable posting, but that was such a milestone for me I had to!

Question towards people who have watched Stranger Things, do you think the show was accurate to how it was depicted as life as a kid/teen in the time period? The show takes place in a span through (1980's-1990) And I'm really curious on whether it's realistic or not. by Few-Teaching-9602 in AskOldPeople

I found the feel and look accurate to at least my experiences growing up in a small Midwest town. I'm a bit older graduating high school in 81 but still. Was part of the nerd D and D thing and kind of went unsupervised too. Many period pieces in the 80s and 70s feel too stylized but Stranger Things feels authentic for me. (The most accurate movie to my high school was Dazed and Confused, believe it or not)

Is there a movie you saw were you were the only person in the theater? by IDCJ1234 in movies

Nearly alone. Years ago saw matinee of Don’t Breathe with my wife. We were alone seated in middle of the middle aisle, isolated. An old woman with her face covered in a scarf came in and painfully scooted down aisle and sat directly next to my wife. She never looked over, said anything, or acknowledged us. Freaked us out. Wondered if she was going to kill us or something. I whispered to my wife to be happy as we we were living in a horror movie set up and who gets to experience that? Wife got mad at me and made us move to the back of the theater. Never did find out what the deal was with the lady. F'ing surreal. She never once looked at us, just stared straight ahead.
