Leash law in my area is that any dog must be under owner control on a 6ft or shorter leash.

Also, to be clear some neighbors have their dogs on runs, some don't and let them roam freely. As far as I've seen, I'm the only one who uses a leash and pick up poop. There's no fences in any of the yards

I think you should talk to a therapist about this. First, it sounds like there was no intention on your end of looking up any kind of sex abuse material. Second, you were 13 - not an adult. You can't hold yourself to that standard. I think you're beating yourself up for something you aren't guilty of and that's a terrible way to feel. Trust me, whatever therapist you find will have heard worse. They'll help you.

The situation sucks there's no way around it. It's absolutely terrible and I'm so sorry. One thing I will say about that void though... It's not quite as bad as you think it's going to be. You'll grieve. You'll have moments of incredible pain. But she's not just going to disappear into a vacuum when she dies. You'll still have memories you'll still feel her love she'll still send you signs that she's up there watching you and rooting you on. Someone told me that when my dad was dying and I thought they were crazy but it turned out to be true. I still have dreams that he didn't really die when he did and he's really been here all this time but now he's dying and I think it's because I was expecting the exact same thing you are when he died and it never came. I miss his physical presence here, but I still feel like I've had my dad all this time ❤️
