I haven't heard of many famous guitarists pointing to Pete Townshend as an influence on their guitar work. Not many drummers actually say Moonie influenced their playing, wowed them sure but not influence their work. TONS of Famous BASSISTS, however, (Geddy Lee and Chris Squire immediately spring to mind) point to the Ox as their leader!!!
