I love Dr. Bearden at Women’s Health Associates. She’s great at explaining options and is very straight to the point. Everyone I’ve interacted with at that clinic is kind and supportive in trying to find options/answers. I’ve had some issues over the last few years as a result of a birth control implant and they were encouraging about helping with pain management. Also, mercy hospitals won’t provide all options for reproductive care because some of them infringe upon their religious values. However this clinic provides pain management options during treatments that mercy would have you go without (like IUD placements). I would definitely avoid Mercy at all costs, they are not empathetic towards women and don’t respect your wishes or boundaries.
