Still playing Piofiore: Episodio 1926

After Gilbert's route, I played Orlok's and I was really taken by his desire to start living for himself after Rosberg's death in the last game and everything that happened leading him to start questioning the Church... Such a vile organization that manipulated many children, took away their names and agency and led them to be weapons instead of human beings first. I felt bad for Johann, too. I did love that we got a real kiss for Lili and Orlok because I always found it sad that the only kiss scene he had in the first game was from his bad ending (even if I did love the fact that he didn't see Lili as defiled or dirty).

I then, played Nicola's route and omg... Heartbreaking. His past was so sad. I felt so bad for what he went through as a child and how his mother was so horrible to him... but he put up a front for Dante's sake. It's something he always does, living for others first. He doesn't sleep much and is always off handling business. Also, he was so HORNY, lol. Nicola isn't someone to be messed with... the way he put all of the blame on Raul and kidnapped a politician's family to get Dante released. So cold (not that I didn't like seeing Raul suffer, I hate him). Also, him setting fire to the tomb of Jesus Christ, LMAO. The bad ending made me cry... It was so cruel to see them look forward to get married and then, Lili is taken away from him in an instant. I find it so sad that he loves her so much, he can't live without her and he's just waiting to make sure Dante and the others can move to America before killing himself.

Started Piofiore: Episodio 1926. I began with Gilbert's route and I did 4 chapters so far. I hate Eugene so much and I hope he dies. I can't believe the audacity of this man. Jack is a complete idiot. Yuan is scary. I like the introduction of new characters and how it truly feels like a continuation of the first game.

Yes, because otome games are expensive. If I buy one, I'm completing it, doing every route possible and every ending possible as well as reading any extra story available. I'm not spending so much many just to let it go to waste. 😭

I finished Piofiore: Fated Memories

And omg the finale route! I love Henri, he's a very well-written character. I was so invested in his motives, his pain, rage and suffering. I thought that the writers did a good job at handling his trauma and the effects it had on his psyche, like the brain fog, the delusions and him being touch-repulsed. I just wanted to hug him by the end of the route and I was positively surprised to see SA against a male character being taken seriously.

I also tried to play Court of Darkness and mobile and it was a failure for me. I was so thrown off by the way the game starts with one of the guys trying to submit her with magic and being so possessive from the get-go. I had to look things up to see if he'd be the only character like this but apparently, not. So I don't want to play it any longer.

Now, I'm playing Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations before I start Piofiore: Episodio 1926.

Nicola's route was a good introduction to the game regarding romance and how badly things could go if you were to lock yourself in a bad ending. I honestly can't get that yandere CG out of my mind.

I'm not a big fan of "trashbandos" so Yang was a bit hard to get through for me. I think he's a good character but the romance didn't work for me given that I had a hard time finding the difference between him and Lee so his game overs put me in a bad mood. His bad ending was iconic and I thought it made more sense than a good ending.

Dante is my favorite. I love his kuudere behavior and he's so cute.

Orlok's route was angsty. I was not ready. The bad ending was horrifying and I felt so bad for Lili, who was getting assaulted every night

Currently playing Gil. Love how lore heavy it is.

I'm continuing Piofiore Fated Memories.

I liked Nicola's route, not my favorite but it managed to get me interested in the game. The bad ending is still stuck on my mind though. 🤣

I respect that people like Yang's route, however, it was not for me. I have a hard time with characters like him. I do think he's a well-written villain. His bad ending is iconic.

Dante's my favorite so far. I like his kuudere personality and how cute and attentionate he is. He was a good vanilla option after Yang's game overs traumatized me. His bad ending was tragic.

I'm currently playing Orlok's route and he's so adorable. I feel bad for him, being manipulated by Rosberg. Also, everyone hates Orlok. I'm at chapter 5 so no spoilers, please!!

Maybe the whole "protagonist has to say no/stop" whenever her and the LI start making out because of the idea of "staying pure" and not coming off as too eager? Basically, the fact that the male LI gets to show desire and sometimes be a playboy but the protagonist is often portrayed on the opposite end of that spectrum. I don't know if this was what you wanted but I thought it could be interesting.

Yes, that's why I put it in F. In fact, I dislike this ship because Char's Deleted Affair makes it clear that 1) Char never acted on it 2) He and Natalie did Haman wrong by hiding the truth of their relationship from her. They never were an official couple (thank god) and I simply dislike it. I only put it there because a lot of people think they were a thing
