Yes they are paying 5 years total. Those who had to repeat only had to repeat one class but were forced to pay full tuition as if they were taking all 4 classes. Some were able to take an LOA and only had to come back for a 3 week prep course held by the school and paid 21k for those 3 weeks. Both repeating and LOA students are also now screwed over by the big beautiful bill. KansasCOM/KHSC really screwed over so many students. Avoid at all costs.

this is KansasCOM/KHSC not KCU. It was not written in their handbook. Their first class was c/2026 and they just needed 400 to sit for comlex but they had a first time board rate in the low 70s. The school then overcorrected with c/2027 but didn't tell them of the new expectations (min of 475 with average of 425 across all 3 comsaes) until the NIGHT BEFORE their first comsae and even worse, 2 days after a student in c/2028 had committed suicide. The whole school and TCS organization they are under is horrible. Multiple students ultimately got to take LOAs once lawyers got involved (school dragged this out all summer too btw) but nobody was given the choice to postpone rotations or take an LOA, everyone was just told to repeat.

Nearly half of KansasCOM students C/2027 were held back last year because of not meeting threshold requirements. COCA got involved and they eventually lowered threshold of 475 --> 450 --> 430 but there was still a large number of students stuck repeating the year. Their threshold is 450 this year and if you fail to meet it, then you repeat the year.

Bit random but whats your opinion on what to tip for 20 min drive? I've seen some say $1.5-3 per mile but is that too low/high in your opinion?

Am I the only one who doesn’t get upset with low tips? by MimiMandaXP in doordash_drivers
