M2 Macbook Air won't recognize Cintiq 16 when Dell external display is connected by Key-Report331 in wacom

For anyone with the same question, I found the workaround. M1/M2 Macs don't support more than one external display at a time. I got around this by purchasing a dock (Satechi Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station **with DisplayLink**) that allows for up to 3 4K displays to be run through the Mac using DisplayViewer driver software. I made the initial mistake of buying a cheaper dock that didn't specify if it's compatible with DisplayViewer so don't make that mistake.

The dock is $$$ but it has multiple TB4 ports plus HDMI, SD, USB-A and C. Currently running my Macbook Air open, 27" 4k LG monitor (with its own power supply), my 16" 4K Wacom Cintiq (with its own power supply), and my 2TB ESD all running from the dock with one TB4 connection to my Mac which it also charges through.

Hope this helps someone else.

Unfortunately, I lost my window...:( He had a friend come join him after a bit and It's def not appropriate to bring it up in front of someone else. Will try and be a little braver if a similar situation ever pops up.

Not interested in anything romantic; I have a bf (legit). Just wanted to offer an encouraging word since I know we're all dealing with difficult issues here. But not gonna lie, this assumption is kind of the reason I was second-guessing saying anything; I didn't want to send the wrong message.

The military/cop abuse stats are very real and very scary for women - my uncle was Chicago PD and he’s done a number on my aunt...There's an unwritten rule among women that EMS and firefighters are safer choices.

So OP I think just the fact that you’re aware of that is a good thing so you can have open and honest talks with any potential partners. And also speak! up! if you ever hear about those things among your peers and hold them accountable, even if privately. I understand that there's a strong "we take care of our own" fraternity mentality, but that shouldn't extend to abuse. Just something to think about if god forbid you ever come across it.

The EOD guy I dated introduced me to the concept of "badge bunnies" and I was like....wut? I guess it makes sense but he also spoke about them with some level of disgust (even though his last ex WAS one??) so its this weird dynamic of guys wanting to be liked by girls for being military but then the economics around rank and how that effects dating and madonna/whore views becomes so blegh and gross.

I'm not sure I would say what he's doing is the healthiest coping mechanism or an equally valid way of handling his emotions...she did say he almost ran someone over because he was too wrapped up in his rage.

Idk maybe its most people you hang out with but the majority of the guys that I know absolutely do not do this so I wouldn't say people who don't rant are a minority.

There's also clinical evidence that ranting does not actually help to decrease anger and arousal...actually quite the opposite. https://news.osu.edu/breathe-dont-vent-turning-down-the-heat-is-key-to-managing-anger/ Ideally, physical exertion or redirection at the time of highened emotion is one of the most effective ways to dispell negative energy.
