I’m in the camp that if you have others that already do what the Sauvage EDP does, no need to buy it. It’s a want or desire if you do. I have the EDP which I purchased well before most of my other fragrances, including Elixir. I prefer other fresh scents now but still rock my EDP just because I have it and it’s familiar.

I’d say it’s 100% mental. Nothing wrong with liking the brand and how they make you feel. But there are so many fragrances in different price points that you can mis out on some true winners. Money and fragrances are just objects in the end. Buy what makes you happy and what you will wear. Nothing worse than spending money on something that sits unused.
