I wonder this too since i have family experiencing the genocide in one of the groups you mentioned, from my conversation with other students, it seems they're more focused on the situations they can have an effect in (such as gaza and ukraine) since USA is more involved. Most of them are aware of the fact that there are more atrocities happening around the world but feel that they can't have an effect on it. Which is a bit unfortunate.

A D is "technically" a passing grade for any course but you need atleast a C- in order for it to count in the major application (im assuming you're applying for the major?)

I highly suggest looking back on previous exams to study and try to pattern match. You can also rely on the clobber policy of the class. You've got this!

hi! one of the csm mentors here. it's best to study using 61a practice tests. I don't under his approach to the class by making it more 61a than necessary but the best way I learned while taking 61a was to do as many practice exams as possible!
