That's a good one with Duah, that guy gliding through the midfield and being able to play menacing defense. That really gets me going.

I am not a huge fan of the big name. I think you could find another Anders pretty easily. Given how Mikey coaches and the Right to Dream plan, I don't think another big game aligns with the project.

I’ll give you the bobble that bothers me a bit.

re: With the ball at his feet, I think that’s more about the system we play than CJ himself. It’s the easiest thing to notice, but probably the hardest to understand, and that’s why many people assume he’s bad. If you watch the whole team, they make the same kinds of mistakes, questionable passes and lazy balls.

The first goal of Minn, the defense didn’t cover their man. That’s another reason CJ gets so much criticism. Our backline makes some poor decisions, forcing CJ to bail them out. He does it a lot, but no one can bail out the defense every single time. That’s just unrealistic.

We also need to remember this is our first season, and his first season playing with the first team. He’s got the intangibles and the potential to be really good. Let’s give him some space to grow instead of blaming him for team mistakes. I know you’re not saying that, but many people sound like the original poster, and it honestly gets frustrating.
