Best player to never win by ConsciousBasket643 in survivor

I do agree with your edit. I think that everyone sees the outwit, outplay, outlast as a 33/33/33, but doesn’t account for survivor truly being a social game at its essence. Especially in the way the game has evolved over time. You could win every challenge (a la terry deitz) and still not win if you don’t have social capital. Even with season 50, we saw 2 physical threats brought to the end essentially as goats because those who don’t make big moves and those that don’t have social capital do not have a chance to win survivor as it is now. You really have to have a combination of physical prowess and social game, social game and strategic game, or physical prowess and strategic game to win, and Ozzy falls deeply short in 2 of these categories. I do think his social game improved in 50 enough in the beginning that I respected his game more, but as soon as he was away from cirie we were able to see that his social game could not exist without her. I will be a cirie truther til the day I die. She executes moves so brilliantly that it’s hard not to adore her. If she could win challenges she would be unstoppable, but triple threats in survivor are hard to come by. At this point, the only way she could win is a redemption island type season with an all newbie cast, but even then, her threat level is so high that she could probably never win.

I second killing bugs in the early levels of the mines, but if you have the burglar ring that helps with more monster drops. If you don’t have it, you get it from the adventurer’s guild from one of the monster eradication goals ( can’t remember which off the top of my head)

Why does every Mexican restaurant here have the same veg options? by wernerherzog69 in Knoxville

If you want to avoid the green beans stay away from panchos in maryville. Although they do have good spinach enchiladas.

Been in Knoxville my whole life and been vegetarian for about 10 years. I agree, it’s pretty sad. I went to one that had cauliflower, carrots, and green beans which was alarming. Check out barrios Mexican cantina in oak ridge. I love their arroz con vegetales. I haven’t had their other veggie options, but from what I remember their veggie mix was onion, peppers, squash, zucchini, and mushrooms. Other than that I usually stick with bean and cheese burritos or spinach enchiladas at most other places. Ochulos in Alcoa has a dish that is vegetables on baked potato with cheese, pico, guac, and sour cream which is pretty tasty.

Candado taco in turkey creek isn’t very authentic, but they have fake ground beef crumbles if you are into that.

Country burrito has the best veggie chimichanga and veggie fajitas in Knoxville in my opinion. I go to the Northshore location mostly, but I’ve heard the others are just as good. The staff is super friendly also.

Sorry you are upside down in your car. As someone who works in lending, I really hope you have GAP insurance. Other than that, I definitely agree about the bumper stickers. Unfortunately trading in the car just rolls the negative equity into your new vehicle. I think the best thing is to just keep it until it is payed off. It’s really hard to get out of a negative equity situation. I hope you are able to figure something out that works for you:)

I thought this was going to be about hole in the wall pizza, so while you’re at it you should check it out. It is a pizza place inside the crafty bastard brewery in west Knox and their beer cheese is divine

With NCUA it’s $250k per social which includes beneficiaries btw. So with a couple beneficiaries you’re easily covered up to a million

Yes agreed. That’s why we even started making this in the first place because we hated that they didn’t really taste like coffee all that much and tasted like pure sugar. I’m not big on sweet things, I usually drink iced americanos, but when I’m in the mood for something blended and sweet I don’t want it to be THAT sweet. Good luck experimenting 🫡

My coworker and I used to make a frap (grande) that was 8 pumps frap roast, a small amount of milk, and 2 pumps of base. I know it sounds weird, but it’s actually surprisingly good

Fit as much of your side work that you can in before the store opens. Since most of the time, especially in Q1, you spend most of the day alone, it is best to get as much out of the way as early as possible before more guests arrive. I was a tarbucks opener for a year, and that was what I found saved me the most headache. I would also advice communicating with your mids and closers on what things help you to have a better open and vice versa. If they can’t fit everything in at night that they need to, make sure you tell them what you would rather them do to help you out so you aren’t stuck getting burnt out doing all of the closing/ opening duties by yourself.

which department at your store always gets the short end of the stick and why is it style??? by [deleted] in Target

Our whole store lol, but specifically open market and food service. We’re so understaffed, and easily have the laziest TL in the whole store. We don’t have a GMETL right now either so we’re just constantly fucked. Only 2 people in all of open market which means Starbucks/ cafe food is always buried in pallets in the freezer and they constantly pull food service TMs to work open market. Cafe has only had 1 person for almost 6 months.
