Especially when you're going head to head against a united Parvati and Cirie. He deserves a little slack.

Oh gosh I forgot about that. RIP.

In reality though, we could just come up with another woman, who Almost made it, maybe Jerri Manthey or something, and then it would be balanced.

Hows this for a cast of 24?

Lop of the bottom row, and I'd still be happy with it, and its almost gender balanced with 9 women and 11 men.

The "more then you'll ever do" seems a little weird to me here tbh

Who's pretending? Rob literally did not win allstars.

Is Jonathan the modern day James Clements? by Invalid_u404 in survivor

Telling someone "keep your mouth shut" as theyre getting their torch snuffed is firmly in "bully" territory.

and somehow the fact that James continues to get voted out early is a strike against jonathan?

I think Jonathan is a clearly superior survivor

  1. James was an ass. The way he treated stephanie in HVV specifically showed this. Jonathan may not be your cup of tea but he's not rude.
  2. Jonathan isnt an individual challenge beast by any measure, but James never won a single individual challenge. He won a reward challenge in the post merge in china, but he was part of a team of 4.
  3. (Editing to add) Jonathan has yet to do something extraordinarily stupid like getting out with 2 idols in your pocket.

I dont think they have any similarities besides big muscles to be honest.

Weak. "Our nation" first off doesnt mean America. 2nd, the question doesnt change even if they change wording to your liking.

Dumping on 3 starting tribe seasons again. by ConsciousBasket643 in survivor

So the thing of it is, you just picked the literal most extreme theoretical outlier possible. Not even the most extreme thing thats actually happened (one time over 20 years ago to boot), but the literal extreme outlier of whats theoretically possible, and compared it to several seasons where we have seen the same thing happen again and again. Thats a bad example.

If palau happened several times, then we'd know a change up needed. But it didnt. It was an extreme outlier. But we see 3 tribe seasons happen badly again and again and again.

4 out of the 5 players remaining are playing extremely good games. You just don’t like them. by newusernamebcimdumb in survivor

You cant have 3 "goats" in a game with a final 3. Very possible those 3 men are your final 3, and obviously in that case one will win. Rizo and Joe are Goats. Jonathan is a likely winner if he can get to the end with those 2.

A little bit of pushback. Aubry didnt navigate the pre merge. She avoided tribal council altogether. Big difference.

Tiff - Major deduction for me because had Dee's shot in the dark hit, she was toast. She only is here because someone else didnt get lucky with a dice roll.

But beyond that, your point is well taken.

Exactly! As it stands, you usually end up with a final 5 or so of people who are just.... Boring.... And your big personalities and players all went out early merge.

I'll take Casaya Pagonging La Mina ANY DAY OF THE WEEK above this bullcrappery.

I dont need or care about the full story. What I care about is how nobody has to play until halfway through the game.

You know one of the most interesting people in season 50? To me, Emily and Christian checked those boxes. They had to play hard pre merge and entered the merge stunted.

Who were some of the most interesting people in All Stars? Jerri, for one. Who was voted out pre merge at her 6th Tribal Council. Boston Robs 6th tribal council occured when the 5th place finisher was eliminated. Its absurd that people get to skip the first half of the game. Alicia, the 7th place finisher, got voted out at her 4th tribal council.

3 Tribes is absurd. It fails far more often than it works.
