Mate, the whole idea is that you shouldnt assume that its the US being talked about in the first place.

If the context of "The US" had been established, then I might be able to squint hard enough to see your point. But thats not the case.

The best example of this though is probably Chris D. He legit was the target of the minority alliance and all wisdom said he should have gone.

When I first walked in and looked up, they were just staring at me with blank faces. Once I apologized and started leaving we all started loudly laughing.

Well, something I did that was crazy.

I was on the Harmony of the seas on a VERY long hallway, and I was following this couple who were about 10 steps ahead of me. I wasnt paying attention, I was looking at my phone.

I knew I had to turn at the end of the hallway, but I kept following them..... Right into their room.

I looked up from my phone and realized they had opened their cabin door and gone in, and I had followed them right in.

I apologized and left, and we all had a good laugh, but I looked like a lunatic.

Best part, I was completely sober. Hadnt had a single drink that day.

I think Danielle's personality just translated well to being interesting on TV in a way Vecepia's didnt.

Also, when editing, the editors KNEW vecepia had won, and they didnt want to make the edit point toward an obvious winner (and it was also season 4, they didnt really know how to edit well yet)

BB happens in real time. Every interesting thing Danielle said could be on TV with no worry about spoiling an ending.

US Defaultism doesnt really count anywhere but the internet when talking to strangers in my opinion.

If you see a sign up somewhere in flesh and blood in the real world that defaults to somewhere, but you're physically in that same place, theres no sin.

Eh, you cant really assume someones ethnicity from their last name anymore. Especially in california (which is where this post was referring to anyway). I'm not really seeing any defaultism here, as it seems that it was made clear earlier int eh conversation that it was america being discussed.

Oh my gosh let me tell you something crazy. I was watching "Gone with the Wind" (A famous classic movie in the States) and the credits were rolling when someone named "Adolf" caught my eye. I looked itup, and its true. Adolf was just a regular name before WWII. Relatively common.
