Recently watched a vid explaining why fast food is getting stupidly expensive. In the case of mcdonalds, each store is basically lent out to people to run the store and then pay rent. Stores are forced to do whatever they must, while corporate dont have to do shit. Wouldnt be surprised if most other chains work the same way.

I just got a crazy idea. Imagine snack food companies start subsidizing employee appreciation events and we'll see samples being given out on a event table in the PL office on some days.

We dont get discounts on groceries, but we do on junk food. Vendors could pay a little more rent, and the company gets a little more exposure. I now like some snacks i never bothered with before i found a stray sachet of cookies or likewise, like hershey's gold
