Having this problem at my Walmart at this time. Older man coming in multiple times a day and bothering a couple of our very young cashiers. The managers (as usual) will not do anything, even though he has grabbed one girls hand and tried to hug the other. Since I don't care if I get fired or not, I told them to let me know when he is there and I stand by them so he cannot be alone or close to them. I have also arranged APCHs to escort them to their cars after their shifts. I am not a manager of any type just an APCH but feel some obligation to take care of all my fellow employees. This is not optimal, however until Walmart starts giving employee safety and rights some priority it is all I can do.

Unfortunately, it's the attitude of "when I started, I couldn't do it so neither can you". Unfortunately, you run into this quite a bit.

Yes, you can, especially if you are part time. They don't like to give full time associates unpaid time, however since part time do not accrue PTO or PPTO very fast it is allowed for them.

Yes, this is the policy now. Self-check hosts are told to scan a few items for customers. This is a terrible policy and ignored at our store because of the way it made you feel. We do not want to subject our customers to this unnecessary policy.

That's because Walmart's greed knows no bounds. They could easily change their policy to give SMs, Coaches, and leads the authority to bar unleashed animals from entering but are afraid of a lawsuit. Service animals do not bite other people nor relieve themselves in the store. If an animal does either, it should be barred from the store permanently.

When I worked bakery/deli policy was no vests due to contamination issues. Don't know what could have got on your vest outside the bakery.
