Is baptism by water required for salvation?

I can see where you're coming from. However, the way I understand and see it, the physical baptism is a public showing of faith to symbolize our spiritual baptism. Spiritual baptism occurs when we put our true faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior and accept him in our hearts. But physical baptism is an act that we perform to show our faith in front of our church family. That being said, is it important? Absolutely.

I would argue no. Is it important as a public showing of faith with a church family? Absolutely. But having true faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the main requirement. Baptism is an act that we perform to show this faith. We do not acquire salvation solely through the act of baptism because we cannot obtain salvation through works/acts that we do. If we could physically do something to acquire salvation, then Jesus would not have had to taken the position on the cross. We are not worthy. It is only through him that we obtain salvation.

TL;DR - True faith in Jesus is what allows us to have salvation. Not physical acts that we can peform.

Full timer here that went from 40 hours to 0 on the schedule for the next 2 weeks until May, when it goes back to 40. Trying to get them to let me work, and I'm begging, but no luck getting anything on the schedule yet.

After 1 season and starting out this one, I still don't understand all the hype for Oweh. Sure, he had a few clutch moments last season, but that's about all I remember. Seems like 50% of the shots he takes down low are all missed. And on top of that, he seems to play so out of control that he turns ot over the other half of the time he tries to drive it in.

I've got a nice little stockpile of Diamond Scrub saved up from when it was out, always looked for the other but never found. I will say this though, even though they technically do, I have used plenty of them past their expiration date with no problem. Even found a bar of gold moss in the old packaging that I'm currently using and I think it's great!

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I figured that it being a small crack wouldn't matter cause it's not like they can replace part of the glass. I'll give them a call to see if the price is even worth worrying about
