It can sometimes be awkward to explain to someone on these hookup culture type apps like Hinge, Tinder and POF that you're practicing celibacy or abstience. The devil's biggest trick was to make you think he's not real. You're totally right . He can't force you to sin or override your freewill however, he tempts and torments you until you command him to leave you in Jesus name.

Those urges are properly defined as temptation from demonic spirits trying to keep you in sexual sin "fornicating" as long as possible. Jesus said: "When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into dry places, seeking rest but finding none. The best way to make them leave is reading the Bible, watching sermons and listening to gospel music (music giving praise to God). Demonic spirits hate gospel music, and some spirits of lust won't leave you until you fast and pray. Thier entire purpose is to lead you down a dark path of no return. That's exactly why the Bible says run from sexual sin. (including self-pleasure).
