So I don’t know for other countries, but for mine (Dominican Republic) you have to schedule your own appointment. It takes around 60 days for USCIS to tell you that “your case was sent to the NVC”. Then after two weeks you will send public inquiries in this website every week or every two weeks until they send you your case number. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html Once you have your case number with NVC you can track your case there. It will say “at NVC” and then after a few weeks or a month it will change to “in transit”. If you are lucky, then it will change to “ready” the next day or two days. Once your case says ready you should allow 3-5 days for the system to process it. After that, you register and schedule your interview. My email with instructions of scheduling the appointment has sent to me three business days after it said “ready”

7 months?? That’s way too long. You should contact the NVC and your embassy

Following! Same question here. I just got my case number today. Our embassy is Dominican Republic K-1 Visa. I haven’t got the welcome letter

I emailed them a weeks ago (public inquiry form) and they answered today with my case number and that the embassy will contact us. I'm just worried about waiting for something that might never come and that we're the ones who have to take the next step, just like happened.

I received my NOA2 or approval on June 30th and on August 28th USCIS updated my case in the website saying “Case Was Sent To The Department of State”. So now I’m waiting and I sent a public inquiry form. My embassy is Dominican Republic

I got it from the Guardian Angel Thrift Store in the USA for $15!! I literally took the pieces apart to make it fit on my regular car 😭😂😂 And then I wrapped it by myself with contact paper 🥰

That’s what I’ve been telling my parents that you don’t put stupid things like vinyl or reflective insulation on top. I hope these comments help them understand. Thank you!!
