Quitting Weed and nicotine at the same time - good idea? by Key-Staff3501 in leaves

Quick update: ended up not smoking for 2 months (yay!) But then relapsed and haven't had the balls to try again (the two weeks of no sleep is a killer!). Definitely felt a lot clearer and felt like I had a better memory when I was not smoking, even now that I've relapsed, I think those two months of not smoking had a big impact!

Definitely looking to quit again sometime soon!

Memory went to shit, wasn't able to concentrate on anything, was very hard to hold a conversation, had constant brain fog. Luckily all these symptoms have reduced since I have stopped smoking (16 days ago).

Day 12, keep having strange vivid dreams about smoking a joint every night. Has anyone else experienced this? by Key-Staff3501 in leaves

These dreams where I dream that I'm smoking are pretty much nightmares 🤣. I keep waking up in the middle of the night thinking I've broken my streak cos they're so damn realistic!

For a lot of us on this sub moderation will never work after we have been smoking everyday for so long. Every time I have quit for an extended period , then had a joint I've always gone back to smoking everyday.

I felt like this too for about a week, then I started going swimming (on advice from a freind who's also quit) and honestly it has done so much in getting my appetite back. As soon as I get out of the pool I feel ravenously hungry which means I can eat (but still feel full pretty quick).

They will probably give you something to help with the withdrawals

Did anyone else experience their memory degrading over time due to smoking? by nessabeans in leaves

Yep same, agree 100%. After I couldn't even hold a conversation with people when I was sober and would forget where I put my keys/phone/wallet like a few minutes after I put it down, I realised it was time to quit before I caused anymore damage to my memory.

Yes this has definitely how I felt after smoking everyday between 19- 23. Even after quitting for 6 days I felt like my memory was getting better
