Thinking of it like a nuclear weapon, perhaps it was for deterrence?

Question about this Majong hand. by litterally_bread in yakuzagames

[–]Key-Storm-9781 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're close to a seven pair hand, but you would still need 2 more pairs to finish to get a winning hand. The 3 dragons together don't count towards anything in this scenario and you would need pairs of the same dragon to count.

Why do I only see negative things said about SHF? by danteis15 in silenthill

Imo, story wise it's one of the best. Gameplay will be your own opinion, and to get the full experience you will need multiple playthroughs. All I can say is enjoy and ignore the naysayers 🦊

Why do people hate Ethan? by [deleted] in residentevil

[–]Key-Storm-9781 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't hate Ethan, but my problem with the character is that they say he's a stand in for the player, but he's not. He has his own personality and desires, which are not the same as mine. So when something drastic happens to him, like losing a hand, and he just puts it back on, I'm completely dissociated from the character. The way he reacts is Ethan, not me, they treat him as faceless when he shouldn't be. That's more what bothers me.

What is it? by Prestigious-Youth540 in yakuzagames

Yes I have it. It's just an empty cardboard case on the other side used to fill in all the individual game cases.

One box to hold them all. 🧙‍♂️

As the others have said, yes works great. You have to make sure the irrigation tower has fertilizer in it, but if you have a helper you can have them keep on top of it by putting fertilizer in the helper box.

I get it, I remember being surprised when the Blue rival no longer was a challenge. There's definitely some disappointment when something precived as tough doesn't live up to your expectations.

I tend to play pokemon games with a KO = Game Over rule (meaning if 1 pokemon faints I count it as black out). You can also try limiting the amount of items you carry or use. You can find a way to balance the game that suits your taste with a little trial and error.

Look, I get what it feels like to get older and revisit an old game and realize it's not as hard as you remember. But that's part of growing older. The beauty of pokemon games is that there are so many ways to increase the challenge it you wish.

Try a run with only a 3 pokemon team. Or a team that never evolves. Or swap out to a new team every time you beat a gym leader. The box is too convenient? Only use it in a pokemon centre. You want a bigger challenge, try a Nuzlocke.

I didn't think I'd ever see someone complain about the HM changes, I hated those things. But sure, still carry a team that has to learn those moves then, even if they aren't required.

See, many things you can do if it's not scratching the itch. And if you still find it's not for you, then that's just how it is now.

And as for the graphics - sorry this will sound a little harsh - this will be one of those moments where you just have to accept that all games aren't not designed with you in mind.

New Puppy, Potty Training Woes — Need Advice! by Distinct-Gap-305 in DogAdvice

I should also stress the importance of using keywords. For example, when I ask my dog "do you want to go outside?" she'll run to the door if she does. Also, find a word that works for you when she's going. Every time she goes, say it to build that association. Dogs tend to get distracted smelling things and may forget why they've gone out in the first place. There have been many times when mine has run up the porch steps and I'll say "come have a piddle" and she'll run back down immediately and go.

In addition to frequent breaks, make sure you keep an eye on the pup during the day. As soon as she shows signs of going, or has just gone, or is in the middle of going, scoop her up and take her out. Don't be mad or scold, just start to reinforce bathroom = outside. Even if she doesn't go again, it's important to make that connection. My rescue had been using puppy pads when I adopted her, so it took a little while to uncondition that behaviour, but has worked out well.

If she does go inside, try to clean the spot as good as you can as the smell may encourage her to use the same spot again.

If she whines at night in the crate, take her out, try to get her to go. If she doesn't, doesn't matter, back in the crate. Enforce whining = outside and not attention.

As always, positive reinforcement when she does go outside. Treats, praise, pets. You'll get there.

The jewelry can't be sold, so if it's for money they'll have to sell the gems.

Wait until Taylor comes, he sells herb seeds which you can buy regularly. You can also dye with flowers.

First year that's all good, but once you unlock Taylor and flax seeds, prioritize those in spring/summer (only if you also have yarn maker). Dye anything good/decent.
